Menopause

Also known as “the change of life,” menopause can be a challenging time in a woman’s life. The symptoms include hot flushes, joint pains, tiredness, skin changes, sexual problems and bladder symptoms. The problems can affect work, home and personal life. Hormone replacement therapy can alleviate many of the problems associated with menopause. In our experience however, it is an important opportunity to help women make healthier choices in relation to their lifestyle and general health. As many of us can expect to live 30 years after age 50, enjoying good health in those years should be top of everyone’s priority list.

14. Vulval disorders

The vulva is the area around the entrance to the vagina. Itch, burning, and pain are symptoms of vulval disorders. These distressing symptoms often raise concerns about sexually transmitted infection but are more often related to skin disorders that can be easily treated after an examination and occasionally biopsy of the skin.
